I use to think that retirement homes were horrible and depressing. I then was faced with having to try to find a place for my Dad where I wouldn't have to worry about him not having anything to eat or being lonely. I did NOT want him living a hospital room. We finally found the Coventry where it was cozy and nice. It felt like a home when you walked in. He has an apartment of his own, with his own things. They do all kinds of activities, they go shopping and on outings. And I don't have to worry about him driving himself because they take them on a shuttle. They have three meals a day prepared for him. They even do weekly house keeping for him. (I wish I could have the same!) My dad and I are very happy with the Coventry and their staff.

We looked at many retirement places in Salt Lake and were so dissapointed that we almost gave up. We luckily found the Coventry and the Wentworth. From the moment we walked in we were amazed at this beautiful place. My grandma Eddie has her own apartment with her own furniture. Not a dressed up hospital room like we found at other places. We visit her often for lunch and at the many themed events that the staff hosts for the residence and the families and the food is always so good. She could not be happier and we no longer have to worry about her having problems at her old house. Our family is very fortunate.
